A COMPENDIUM

OF INFLUENTIAL BOOKS

Reading has been one of the primary tools I've used as a strategy for learning. One great book leads to another and the positive benefits have a cascading effect in my life. I'm extremely grateful for all the recommendations I've received from other people and my desire is to design this page to be a contribution to the vast pool of positive suggestions. May you find resources of fascination and elucidation in these pages and be influenced by inspiring ideas.

Consider this: Among our peers, there are always the discriminating types who have adopted a few good books after reading many bad ones. When they say that a text is worthwhile, it deserves reading and careful study.

The person who starts building a working library for their professional use cannot do better than to consult those who are scholars as well as leaders, and ask them to name a few of the more impressive texts.

The well-read person need not have more than a dozen books in their home, provided that they all possess potency and one continues to pore over them and to ponder the weight of what is said. On the other hand, the ignorant person is frequently marked by their bookshelf stocked with titles, not one of which suggests that they have any professional discernment.

Some of these books are really hand grenades described as nonfiction, and will likely cause radical shifts to occur in the foundation of your life. You may also find that listening to any of these as an audiobook could be an enjoyable and convenient option as well.

You'll find my featured favorites first, then followed by organized categories of various subjects.

The problem with digital books is that you can always find what you are looking for but you need to go to a bookstore to find what you weren’t looking for.
